MIKE EPPS' DEBUT HIP-HOP/COMEDY ALBUM

LOUISIANA PAPARAZZI:

September 15, 2009
Comedian/actor, Mike Epps, is gearing up for the release of an album. Yes, you read right, an album ... a music/comedy album, titled Funny Bidness ... Da Album.
The upcoming project features new original songs, parodies, skits and live comedy, as well as "prank calls" made by Epps to various unsuspecting celebrities.
Epps did get some help though. Artists such as Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, Slim Thug and Too Short give assists on the tracks "Baby Makin Brother", "Domestic Dispute", and "I Da Pimp".
"I feel that I can skin this Hollywood cat nine different ways. I'm just having a good time," said Epps of the album.
The album drops October 27, coinciding with his hosting duties at the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards set to premiere on the channel on the same day.
Epps doesn't stop there. This fall, he has a comedy special set to air on Showtime on October 3rd, called "Under-rated and Never Faded - Live from Detroit," with the DVD release hitting stores on November 10th.
In the meantime, catch Mike Epps on tour. He is currently performing stand-up comedy across the nation.
