Louisiana's Playwright/director Tyler Perry poses with actor Will Smith at the 2009 Turner Upfront at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC recently.
Tyler is set to release his 8th movie "Precious" in November of this year (2009).
The film is about a young girl named Clareece "Precious" Jones who's an overweight, illiterate African-American teen in Harlem. Just as she's about to give birth to her second child, Jones is accepted into an alternative school where a teacher helps her find a new path in her life.
We are definitely riding with you on this one, Tyler! We are confident that this film will be another box office breaker for you!! Keep up the great work!!
